LET’S MAKE A CLOISONNE OWL

Transparent enamels offer the opportunity to peer deeply into their depths. A project-based course focusing on how to work with transparent enamels while creating an enamel from start to finish. I’ll cover the materials and tools needed, how to prepare the metal, how to place wires, how to look at the image to select colors, how to wet pack enamels and how to finish up the piece. By the end of the course, the student will have the resources needed to create their own enameled owl as well as how to take these techniques to create their own designs.
