Description
A cloisonné enamel pendant set in Sterling Silver.
Osiris is one of my first Egyptian God pendants in my enamel series. As well as being a god of the dead, Osiris was a god of resurrection and fertility. In fact, the ancient Egyptians believed that Osiris gave them the gift of barley, one of their most important crops.
Cloisonné is a style of enameling whereby little cells are created with wire and then filled with enamel, silver and gold fused in a kiln. You can read more about the entire process here.
